3 Dimensional Chat / charcater shop model problems

when i load an animated model made in character shop, my computer freezes. this happens when i load it into DBC and an independant model viewer. why is this happening and how can it be fixed?

i don't know, but it might be because of the poly count of the model, if its quite high then that would be the problem, if you are not sure about a high poly count or a low poly count post the count on here i can tell you whether or not its too high

it's not frozen just loading, they take ages to load. i have problems with the normals on the characters after exporting which is very annoying as they often look really bad with lighting. any attempts to fix them result in an unloadable model (tried to fix the normals and export from mview in the dx sdk)

your model is probably about 3 thousand polygons, wich is the right amount for a character in DBPro...i ont know what to tell you unles its a foriegn format...

oh, why didn't you say it was restarting spontaneously lol, sorry i've not many ideas. load the unanimated model into an application to find the polycount, unless the unanimated model has the same problem, then it's a model issue not a charactershop issue.

You cannot load model from Chracter shop into DBC as DBC dose not support bonning only DBP dose. ha
