I see that TGC are promoting Trackmania Sunrise. Does that mean it is written in DBP? If not what is the connection?

Someones probably janking your chain - its already out and distributed by Digital Jesters. Its a good game, although the rally cars are awful and some of the stunts are very hard to do...

I wonder what they replaced the (very) annoying CD check system with...

Unless they have figured out a way around the Temp\ folder for dbpdata then this wasn't developed in DBP.

i've played it, it is actually very good. there are a few glitches in it, but it's still entertaining. its one of the few multiplayer games i've seen come form TGC.

well they sell it, I think thats what he means

Part of solving the problem is actually noticing that the problem is there in the first place

If so, it'll be inaccurate - the developer was Nadeo (French, I think).

No it's not created in DBPro. We sell it because we felt it would be of interest to our community - as it's a sort of game making type game.

Certainly interested me... class game, and hopefully the new skin editor'll put an end to those atrocious user made skins I saw for the original (Most of them you couldn't make out the patterns).

There's certainly a good impression of speed in the game

We didn't make it and it's not made in DBPro (as Rick has said) but it's a great game none-the-less and the track / car editor is superb, so it's more a racing game maker than a straight racing game. On-line mode is the best for sure. I hang out on the UK servers if you want a race (name: HALOfourteen)
