I was working on my half life clone, I was trying to fix one bug, and after a test compilation I went back to DarkEdit and a popup came up telling me "Canvas does not allow drawing." I know dark basic saves with every compile, so I did not think twice about restarting. But when I get back, MY PROGRAM IS BLANK! ALL 1000 OF MY GAME ENGINE LINES ARE GONE!!!!! Does DB have any kind of autosave or recover feature, cause this really sucks!!! Help me out here, forum! HELP!

DarkEdit created 2 files on compile ...
[program].tmp (temporary DarkEdit Save)
[program].bak (recode into DarkBasic Code)

if it isn't there then i dunno... even when i get that i just click oki and save anyways then exit. But i dunno weird huh?

Was indi's post at all related to Ravens? And does anyone have any idea why my stair climbing algorithm for my half life clone recognizes anything as a step, and you can step up onto any object?...If it's over a certain size you just go to the top of it, if it's under that size you just pop up 30 or so units in the air...I can't figure it out!! Would any of the DB administrators care to carefully examine my code?

Quoth- No way! As a fellow coder, and nearly losing all my code myself, I know how you felt for that chunk of time where you thought youd have to do it all over again. I would never joke about something so serious!

hell yeah... remember you were suppose to be making the music to my JK2 clans world!!
i asked you back in like November MAN!!!
you said fair enough - and that was the last i heard from ya

i swear between you and leite who the hell DOES actually make music around here that i'll actually hear.

i asked leite to do a simple bloody song from mp3 into midi a few instraments, he said "yeah sure won't take too long" 2months later i get something that you recognise if you'd heard the original enough ... and i've not heard from him since

ack... if i knew you guys would take this long i'd bloody try and do it myself - might be quicker
