it's good but that new one Brotherhood of Men or something just steps up the WW2 FPS games to a whole new level..

Seriously with the number of WW2FPS on the market, really should be a Genre of it's own.

Its a pretty good game. Environments are cool, and in the words of "Game Informer", whereas MOH games give u the feeling ur in a disney ride and ur the hero that takes out entire enemy bases, "Call of Duty" is much more realistic. You lose health very fast, if you get hit like 3 or 4 times u die, u cant run out and be a hero, you get a group of guys ur with, and u have to be careful. I find it a hard game, thats fun to play, except when u still die after trying a mission about 8 times. Its worth it though.

Video games…they can take you places unreachable, impossible, unfeasible. They put you in the book...they put you in the movie...they put you in a world, a world that before could only be imagined.

I got the game with my graphics card. It wasn't bad, good graphics and sound, but the game was too short I think. But Jason Stathom did a voice in the game, that was cool.

COD is pretty good, and pretty long in the tooth now, so it should be cheap.

MOH Pacific Assault is pretty good if your looking for something new, lot's more realism than the previous games. Of course, I'm just killing time until I can get Battlefield2.

I got the Brother's bit right
Still it was a bloody good game... I wasn't fussed for Call of Duty. It was good, but all the areas just seemed too small and linear.

True of most games I suppose, but because you had alot of guys running around it feels like a warzone, so you feel very cramped very quickly. Especially when you try to move to a protected position to shoot a tank and half of your squad gets in the way, and the other half runs out to get shot.

On the plus side, you don't just play as a single side.

I'd rate Call of Duty as a better playing experience than Brothers in Arms, CoD is way too engrossing to pass up. Brothers in Arms has an excellent theoretical idea but the execution isn't too good, for instance, it's awesome that you can control your squads and set up supression and flanking tactics, then about 3 chapters in you realise that's all you can do. It's also annoying that you only ever get about 5 - 10 minutes of play in before hitting another loading screen. I was really looking forward to BiA but I'm a little disappointed in it, especially in the absence of surround sound, EAX and the ability to pump up the graphics. The game's a pretty poor console port.
