So far 1 image, Seppuku Arts writting by flames

Created using text splines and the extrude nurbs, fire made using a single light with 300% brightness and a wavy noise.

Please post your opinions

'tis been a while since I updated this
Well here is my latest, not too flash but I'm going to make it into an animation, yes I know it will be wierd/random animation, buts its all for practice.

Model made by using point editing and polygon modelling, lense flare created in the light tool, same for the fire, the model special looks are material settings with alpha mapping and the glow effect.

This one is of a face

Made using polygon modelling and bridge tool, smoothed using Hyper nurbs.
Thats the update on my Cinema 4D images, please post any thoughts

Not bad on the head. You need to fix the mouth a little. I can see that your detail comes nicely from your texture. Did yoiu use concept art?

yeh I did, the face texture was made separate because I am testing it on many head models and it will be used on the best, I'm guessing for this version I should move the mouse texture lower

Thanks for the comment

Very nice. The second image really has a 'wow' factor about it and I'm loving the texture on the head, what software did you use for that?

Modelling was done in Cinema 4D CE 6
Texture was done in Photoshop 6

thanks for the comment

For the head the mesh looks really terrible, I won't be using it as proper use, good practice tho

hmm I wonder where....??? Oh and welcome to the forums sspikedudley

And I got a new image, which spike may find familiar

Spike I think the nice people would comment well on your models. With dark basic they'd look great in a racing game, if you lowered the poly count a bit

Woah thats funky! Apart from dints above the eyes and overall skull funkyness(shape), you are going good. Ive only modelled 2 heads in my time, so I dont know it all, but eliminate the forehead bump and round and shape the back and top of the head and your on to a winner.

thanks, I'll keep all pointer in mind for the next head I make, maybe the next one won't have 'normals' problems, when loaded into TrueSpace 5 for animation
