2D All the way! / The bitmap doens't give up !

Hi.
I'd like some help. I'm making a game...there a few introduction in some words... like this :
center text xxx,xxx,"introduction"
wait (1000)
cls
center text xxx,xxx,"more introduction"
wait (1000)
cls
load bitmap "image.bmp"
wait (1000)
cls
rem begin of game...
xxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxx
xxxxxxx

The problem is the bitmap doesn't disappear of screen! I want it ! But it never screen clear... so the screen shows the bitmap until I press F12 key.

What's wrong ? Please help me !

hmm, there might be two things you forgot:

sync on or paste image functions.

And you might want to use fade screening, you know what i mean.

You'll probably want to load the bitmap into a bitmap number, then paste it to the screen for the time you want.

if u want to get rid of the bitmap u can use
'delete bitmap #'

But sync refreshes the screen so a sync will definetly need to be added.
