what programming language do you use to make the DLL's? can you use visual basic, or is it just c++?

before u go and write a DLL check to see what ones are already installed nativley then u dont have to rewrite the book per say for each OS intended to make it work.

Most decent languages will create DLLs that will work with DBPro. Visual Basic isn't one of them though.

Nor DB - Classic or Pro... erm... that's not saying that they aren't decent languages though

VB just creates the wrong kind of DLL, and so do all of the .NET languages, except for Visual C++ in 'native' mode.

You can even create DLL's in assembly language if you need to punish yourself
