I'm going to purchase a new machine. Primary use will be FPSC and DV editing. I'm hoping to get some opinions before I decide.

AMD Athlon 64 3200+
-1GB DDR400 RAM
-256MB AGP Video

-----or-----

P4 3.4Ghz
-1GB DDR400 RAM
-256MB AGP Video

Thoughts? Opinions?

Thanks!

Dude your not using valve's source engine. Your using a quake-3 based engine. but I'd go AMD... The program run fine on my system..

AMD Sempron 3000+
1024MB DDR 400 Single Channel
ATI Radeon 9600 XT 128MB
80GB HD 7200RPM

Quake3 based?

No, DBPro based, so really you need a graphics card that's good for DBPro - personally I'd go for a decent nVidia card. Either of those machines with a good graphics card should be perfect - maybe just go for the cheaper option and stump up some extra cash for a card upgrade (that's if it'd even need it of course).
