Take it you aren't in the US then?

Heh, reminds me of one time in ireland when we were completely off our t*ts. I mean seriously bad. Walking into hotels and demanding to see our mothers bad. Anyway we asked a bloke where a good night club was. He was surrounded with birds, so it was a fair bet he would know. He told us, and after removing ourselves from several of the hotel's statues (was a really good hotel) we managed to make it to the nightclub. Anyways the door was like this totally black lift with a small sign above it. Cool. Perhaps a rock club. This was about 1991, so we were all mulleted up and ready for a good time. Up we went and it was like a normal type bar. No probs. Drink please. Oh no says the barman you are underage. Nah nah nah. We were all like 18 now, so no probs matey boy. Nope he says, you must be 21 (may have been 25 actually). Eh? Did we get the wrong ferry and end up in the US? Nah, as it turned out it was a gay bar. All the men were extremely gay, and all the women were men. Erm. Got out of there quickly. To be fair this only happened to me one more time in my life... well two more times if you count almost going in....

And dudes, less on the coffee. Plenty of time for that when he's dead. Or whatever. Actually shouldn't you be taking in a yard of ale? Not a real man until you have done (attempted) one of them? Particularly evil looking smiley there...

Cheers

Haha.. I remember my 18 quite well, got totally rat-arsed; ticked off that some guy wouldn't leave my girl alone and the rest of the night was kinda blurry...

remember my best mate helping drag me home saying they needed to get some ice on something. but well ya know kinda woke up the next day aching all over with bruises in the weirdest places.

Anyways, Happy Birthday Jess

Hmmm. My 18th, that I don't remember rightly (always the best), consisted of me nicking the burgers out of peoples hamburgers in the nightclub, and plonking them in other peoples drinks. I didn't know any of these people apparently. Also included snogging my bird quite badly in a friend's car (other people there and I was completely drunk, so nothing more ). Vague memory of being chucked out of the car in the middle of nowhere. I became amazingly sober, and realised the best way of avoiding getting run over was to walk in the *middle* of the road. Sort of. On a blink bend. On a hill. Aha. Then remember the lads coming back with the car (was a joke), and me punching a friend of mine in the face as he was frantically winding up the window (apparently came really really close to smashing my fist into the glass). Was quite proud of that one. Small let down when I found out later that he had a brain embolism and might die at any time (wasn't because of me). We all felt a bit guilty cos we used to punch him in the head quite a lot. But hell he was a bit of a tosser at times... and he never *proved* anything... And then have really rubbish memory of getting home and walking into everything. Then collapsing on bed. Then getting slapped around. Then nothing. Class.

Those were the days. Sniff. Tear in eye...

Cheers

I read that as heterosexual and was about to laugh at you (being 16)

For my 16th I had a shared party with my mate, who was 17 day before. Basically we had soo much alcohol you could drown a whale in it (as I'm a lightweight (I don;t care, I'm no alcoholic ) I didn't drink much) and then invited my 3 closest friends, they each invited a friend, and my mate invited 3 more ppl..ooo I have pictures..however please note that the picture of me is incredably inaccurate (you try looking like you normally do while falling over and trying to avoid a camera...in fact I think my hair is actually floating there ).

Nice. But you mean you left him sleep for so long without doing something nasty? Such as various shaving jokes (from the look of his hair, I doubt he would be happy), and good laughs like piling up all the electric hardware in the place on top of him. Always funny when they wake up. Esp if it's their hardware.

Yep. Waste of time is programming. Apart from the bundles of money they chuck at you for basically doing what you would have done anyway At least most of the time it's like that...... Or just train people to program. Is a piece of p*ss, and untechy people (ie. your rich bosses) think it's really hard to do! Some people *actually* can't teach other people programming. It's that amazing. Money tree basically. Oh, if someone becomes really really good, then you get most of the glory! Even though 99% of the time it's mainly because they are really really really naturally good. Nevermind, give me the next pay slip

Back on topic, happy bday Jess , was it you who had a false birthday a few weeks ago when somebody saw it come up on RGT because you forgot they had hte date set up as MM/DD?

As long as he brought along some hard booze, then all the merrier I say. Plus there is not much chance that he will shag your bird. Unless she has been on the whiskey all night of course

Have a good one, Jess!

My 18th was nothing special. I had to work delivering pizzas all night, and when I got home I had found that a tree fell on my car. It was sad, very sad. But in this province I couldn't legally get into any clubs until I turned 19, so it wasn't the end of the world.

Haha,
You people are crazy
It's morning now... well, it was morning before too, but it was about 1am... now it's 9:30... Off to class for a minor test, then into the beers before the next class

Thanks for all the well-wishing on this fine day of my birth

Thanks for the pic, Em, I'll be checkin the mail later today ( when it gets here ).

Jeku,
Ouch! That tree must have it in for ya
The only really good thing for me being 18 now is I can get into the pubs... legally!
So, if you felt the same way, then it's all good I guess... except the loss of your car... Hmm...

Anyhoo... Off to class with me!

Oh, sinking wood, It takes a lot for a tree to sink underwater, if it sank under water right away, there would be no drift wood, but there is drift wood! I can see it right out my window.
