im trying to compile a music program i make a thousand years ago and keep getting the error "cant find d3dx9_24.dll"

you need to install the most recent version of direct x

Used to be Phoenix_insane registered in september 2003 despite what the date says to the left <--

directx 9.0c feburary organized code update or something like that i believe

X-Patch x-patch.exe(gui):75% make.exe:5% x-patch.dll(runtime dll):0% developed on win xp home sp2

I had the same problem with one old pc i have, which have Voodoo 3500 graphics card. Are you using some of the new commands of Darkbasic Pro 5.8?

Are you sure it's not part of the SDK?

You need the re-distutable from the SDK at the least.

After a quick google search I came up with

It's meant for FPC/Delphi, but if you're at a friends house and need to quickly download the file(like I was!), then this will work(though it may not be perfect).
