if the dll is not on your pc, re-download and re-install.

It is a host application for vst plugins. I downloaded it from the main home page and can't find it anywhere else.

Its not completely a sequencer, but it supports sequencing. I wish I could say exactly what kind of a program cubase is... I suppose its just a music composing program (!).

Well actually, I would say its a music making program because these things it supports are all features.. I mean, you can do MIDI, audio, sequencing using VST instruments, the lot. Its not just designed around one thing.

It stands for Virtual Studio Technology. Cubase supports vst instrument dll's.

Programs like Cubase are generally called "Audio Sequencers" although the companies like to name them "Music Production Suites" or something fancy like that.
I think you can download a demo version of Cubase, but certainly not the full app.

There's different version of cubase. There is a free one. I have a cd right here I got with a sound card and it contains Cubasis VST CE, Fruity Loops 4, Wavelab lite. My friend has the real cubase, the expensive one which requires a dongle to even use the program.

What DLL.

EDIT:

Apparently according to a certain forum member, this post shows that I didn't read this thread properly. In that case I'll be more specific. Black Shadow was initially referring to a named DLL (which I DID see), but then he is talking about instrument DLLs. Just thought I should point this out.

yeah that was a little cofusing, sorry. All I wanted was timebandit.dll. While I was on the homesite I found a link to a ftp file where I was eventually able to find the dll. But it is encoded in something that my browser was suppose to automatically dedcode, (binhex 4) so I don't know how to decode it and that is my new problem.

I got a utility that converts it to a macbinary file (.bin). I have been on google for 3 hours now and can't find anything free to convert it to windows. Does anyone know of a program that can do this or some code for it or even a tutorial on how macbinarys work so I can make my own code?

this might be warez, regardless ill have to lock it, you should ask in another forum

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself 
