This is a game i made in three days for the OneSwitch Competition (you can only use one key the entire game...besides escape) It's pretty simple (due to me only have 3 days...) but it runs smoothly and has no glitches (at least on my computer)

It's only 893 Kb so please give it a go!

[edit] oh, ya, i forgot to mention, i didn't actually get to enter it in to the competition because i thought that i had one more hour because of daylight savings time...so i didn't go to enter my entry untill 57 minutes before what i though was the deadline...when the real deadline was 3 minutes ago! ...anyway...they said that they'll still pass it onto the people at http://www.oneswitch.org.uk/ but i can't get any prizes (i wouldn't have got any with such a simple game anyway )

I won!!!

Score was 1200

Pretty neat for 3 days.

Damn daylight savings time. Didn't you know that to go back in time all you need to do is fly around the earth a few times really fast. I thought everyone knew that.

(Never could understand that in Superman)

thanks "all ya'll" for actually bothering to download/tryout/post!

Quote: "It reminds me of a flash game I played, strangely about a stickman jumping over buildings"

heh, yeah, now that i think of it i remember playing one also...except when you hit the buildings you splattered all over the screen (and sometimes a piece of you would "hit" the screen and dangle there for awhile before falling down )

But of course i didn't at all remember that game while making this

Eh sorry mate, I actually tried this a few days ago but didn't bother posting... for 3 days work, not bad The only thing lacking is the abscense of a bloody explosion when the stick dude runs into the towers--all stick games have to be laughably violent, don'cha know. A increase of speed as the game progresses wouldn't be out of order, either.

Yay, a 56k friendly game.

Lol, that's a great game. Seriously, I know it's a simple concept but it's turned out really well. Small bug in that when you press space bar to continue to next level your character jumps but still a crackin' piece of work.

Yes, I noticed the same thing that soapyfish noticed.

When you "Press the spacebar" to jump, it starts the game instantly jumping. You need to ignore that initial pressing of the spacebar as the level starts up.

But besides that ...

Very good job! I like it a lot!

Why did you do such a low-res game in such a high resolution? What's the need to force it into a high resolution?

uuhhh...so the text can look nicer?....i don't really have a answer besides that it's one of the few games that i've made that can go to 1024*768 without losing performance
