Its seems to tell me to turn off caps lock randomly at the moment (when its not on) It does it sometimes... other times it doesnt. Its very annoying

Quote: "TURN YOUR CAPS LOCK OFF"

(Great quote huh?)

Unless someone could point out the cause of this (Im using Firefox by the way) then could someone (like a mod) indicate me to the point of this 'feature'. Thanks

The 'TURN YOUR CAPS LOCK OFF' message applies to other faults with your post as well, such as overuse of exclamation marks or other excess punctuation.

What exactly is the point of it then? And even if does point out things like that, I hardly use any punctuation etc.

its actually VERY useful becuase i sometimes accidently hit the caps button when i mean to hit tab and my entire message is in caps? (pissy me off) <<thats my word and i dont think firefox has anything to do with it im using firefox and it works fine but maybe your post is a one words thing like dll most peole right it ass DLL with caps and maybe you put an exclamation point at the end. i did that before so im using it as an example. Hope this helped.

It is a forum feature to reduce the number of poorly written, unintelligable 1337-speak posts.

If you ever do this just select the text in capitals and hit F3 (doesn't work on the forums, I'm talking word documents etc.)

EDIT:: It could be used on the forums though, just cut and paste your message into word, do the switch, then cut and paste back. A lot quicker than typing out your whole message again.

If your running XP goto Control Panel> Accessibility Options> Accessibility Options> and tick the box Use ToggleKeys. Now whenever you hit Caps Lock, Num Lock or Scroll Lock your computer will beep at you.

You could also try looking at the screen when you type.

@Jimmy, check back here in 2 minutes, something pointless happened and I'm just gathering the evidence.

EDIT:: Check it out, you've got your very own forum error.

Read the green text above developer forum.

You need to have the right number of lower case letters for every capital. Hence messages just consisting of similies give errors.

Facts are meaningless.
You could use facts to prove anything that's even remotely true.
