hello.

i would like to buy fps creator, few things in general i need to know.

1, if paying via paypal how long will it take to get reg-details?

2, $56 how much in pounds in sterling ?

3, will i be able to use a download manager to get my file ? "im on a 56k with a set cut off time " (2hrs) resume is vital.

4, do i need direct X 9 or can i run software on DX8 ?

thank you

1. You will need to pay by whatever method TGC use. PayPal is included

2. The price in £sterling is listed at the download site. If I remember correctly its £30,00

3. TGC have their own donwnload manager that you have to download first. Not sure if they guarantee downloads via 56k.

4. You will need the latest version of DirectX 9.0c at least..

Go to http://www.fpscreator.com and read all about what you need to know.

Oh it'll work, as the data for FPSC gets downloaded in 'chunks'.

I think it's (ATM) set between 2mb and 5mb per chunk, (you can't choose) and if a chunk is 'interrupted' (i.e., your cut off time), *JUST* that chunk gets re-downloaded when you re-connect, and then the download continues at normal.

It's not that downloads can't be guaranteed over 56k - It's just not guaranteed that you'll be able to *GET* the download, before you die or get bored at the very least.
