There is bump.fx added to many entities, but no such fx in fx folder.
Is it just EA issue? (there are normal maps already created in many media files)

I have also some questions about setup.ini:
realgameview=1 (what is it?)
dynamiclighting=1
dynamicshadows=1
useeffects=1
useeffectsonguns=1
useeffectsonscene=1
useeffectsonentities=1
useeffectsonessentials=1 (what is essential?)
dividetexturesize=0
optimizemode=1 (what is it?)
hsrmode=1 (TIP: Hidden surface removal. Should speed your level considerably (longer compilation).

Thanks...

Sorry to jump into your thread, but also, how are bump shaders (the texture side) applied, is it via a grayscale map, or can we use actual normal maps (dot3) maps ?

The problem is I can see no apparent bumpmaps in fpsc. Judging according media provided, you can use normal maps...

But via .fx you could use whatever you want... I just can not figure out the way FPSC .fx files are made...
