Hi i've made this character with milkshape, first time i tried any human body sorta modelling and i'm quite pleased with how it turned out.(Image attached) i've attempted to texture it but i'm useless, does anyone have any advice or know any good tutorials??

not bad,
you've got a good looking character there.. the only thing I can point out is that the arms look a bit too long.

As for texturing.. I dont know what to say really, its a lot of work thats for sure.

though here is a texture I did that might be something like what you need for your character. It was made for another character quite sumular to the one you made. But I havent seen the model sinse I textured it.. and I havent really spoken to the modler sinse.

Anyway, you could probably use this for a referance.. its painted in OpenCanvas. I'm sure if you're able to use this, you could probably do that as well.. I cant imagine that this was ever used.

Man thats great thanks, i'm gonna use this for refernce, some very nice work. I'll check out OpenCanvas also. Thanks for the quick response, i'll post up a screeny when i get him partly textured
