Are you trying to use any commands that the TI4200 can't do ? DBPro unfortunately crashes, instead of returning nicely...

Good news everyone! I really am THAT good...

@Toady

The Ti4200 can do ALL of DBP's commands.

I'm using the nVidia GeForce 4 ti-4200 128 megs, and I can
tell ya, the latest drivers are buggy! This is NOT DBPro
this is the drivers and D3D (directx).

I un-installed the latest, and went back to the 30.82
version and 100% is working, but works great with DBPro.

ASUS Mama board, 512 Megs of ram, 1.1 Ghz AMD, I have
found that installing the motherboards latest chip (AGP)
drivers works wonders also.

Go to www.guru3d.com for some EXCELLENT help
on video card(s) problems/solutions.

Good Luck!

Lawrence

I've had no problems with the latest nVidia drivers, aside from minor graphical glitches on old games (missing heads in Codemaster's Snooker for exampple), they've been very good.

41.09 is a good driver set, certinaly the best for speed.
However i'd track down something called Omega nVidia - because those will fixx the largest majority of problems that nVidia based cards face from the standard Drivers

as for the problems listed

- X to BSP is bugged right now, don't worry a new version is being created just hang in there

- DBpro compiles 50% of the time ... well this is more down to what Operating System setup your using, there are known bugs with WindowsXP out of the box - i'd suggest upgrading to Service Pack 1.
If it is another OS then i'd suggest the latest updates and critical error fixxes

- MD3 Crashes Pro ... this is a well known problem, and will be fixxed within the next month as DBO is released there will be a set of Converters from the more popular formats planned from DBS and other are already working on them. So just sit tight for Patch4 sometime over the next month is the best bet for release
