Hello

I can not find some functions of the SDK 1.1 Core librery.
For examples dbSIN()..., As well as of the Text librery, for example dbChr$()...
No problems with other functions included in the same libreries, so my settings should be correct.
I see that nobody is complaining even though these functions should be quite popular, so I propably did something wrong, what?

Thanks in advance for help

Alberto

The mistake that you made was to assume that the help files are 100% accurate

dbChr$ is dbChr,
dbSIN is dbSin

If you have a function that doesn't compile, then just check out how it is defined within the SDK include files - they are always right.

Not always
For example, in 1.0 at least, the dbFindFirst command either has a different name in the .lib or isnt there at all, using it will throw an unresolved external error in the linker :/

My suggestion: use the c(++) commands for things like dbSin(), as the dg commands are mostly the same, but indirect and so, slower. (didnt run a stresstest though)
