Ok, first time posting, so how i do to make my 3d models look smooth. Yes its my try for a head such as Link from Zelda... not too good thought,but....
I did it with 3dsmax 7 and exported to an .x file with DeleD Lite, no texture on it...

just use a Meshsmooth Modifier and add iterations on it no more than 1 or 2. Cause the Iterations make the object more high poly
hope I helped

if you add an edit poly modifier you can turn on smoothing, but with that model your best off mesh smoothing it or mabey turbosmooth

Smoothing techniques are useless without rigging the mesh-cage to react correctly, which most people just can't do.

You best bet is to use the poly-tools to manually cut & sculpt the surfaces.. though tbh that work has a 1964 finger-print

Ok , nobody could answer figure it out... No problem, i kinda solved it. I'll explain... every time i created an object starting from a cube or any premade object, the ending result was like that...horrible. But if i started it like a rectangle and the , if needed, do the cube starting from that, and so on doing the model, it went ok, well better than before. Of course aplying mesh smoth makes it look better... So that's it.... Thanks for the help. I'll be posting my models soon
