well dbp 5.8 got their vertex commands and looking inside the basic3d header it seems we have them too. I was overjoyed because this is EXACTALLY what i was after for certain tools in my level editor, but im getting a weird result..

this code:

causes these NONSENSE errors:

when the headers clearly state:

Given those are the definitions in the headers and not just some mistake in the help file I dont see how the errors its giving me are even possiable. Sure, a linker error if the functions dont exist or are different in the lib, but this?!

why *_*

I will if someone can confirm its not a problem with just me.

I dont understand the error as its basically ignoring the .h prototypes.. I dont know what Mike would have to do to fix it. If it was a miss-match between the .lib and .h then it should throw a linker error during linking, not a syntax error during compiling like this :/

But yah, if someone could try it out and confirm its just not something uber odd my end then I will let mike know if it checks out.

I dont get it - so must be a problem with your code or your using V1.0

Indeed, well I copied the lines into a blank project and got the same errors so I guess its a problem with 1.0, absolutly marvelous :/

Now I have to decide if I want to upgrade and trade some bugs for some other ones. Collision is super important in my game and alot of things will rely on it.. hmm. Is it all forms of collision that broke or just dbObjectCollision() ? Like do static collisions and intersect object work?

If intersect object doesnt work I wont be able to run my game because I will fall through space forever XD

I believe intersect object works, dbObjectCollsion doesn't. Dont know about static collision though.
