I am currently creating a small piece of code for moving objects in the same fasion as Tomb Raider does, though I'm having problems determining which object is currently in view/range. I'm looking for a method of reading the object number currently being written to the center of the screen. To see my current progress, moving objects with the character not included, I have some videos on my website, link below, in the section Project Glod. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I found a command more suited to what I need, but I am unsure of how to use it.

project vector3

If someone could explain the parameters of this command, it would be very helpful in the development of this game.

this is just a basic method of howto check if an object is infront of you, you could also do distance checks to make sure the object is within a certain distance.

I'm trying to avoid having to check every object, as I will have quite a few. Thats the reason for either reading which object is being written to a screen coordinate or using the vector command (I was pointed to this by a friend, but am unsure how to use it). If you know how to use that, a basic explanation would be great
