I thought this might have more luck in the General Talk forum than in the DBP one so...
DB Freebies Archive is what I call it. It's a database that will contain textures, 3D models, sounds, skyboxes, and maybe even code samples, EVERYTHING there will be royalty-free to use in your games

It also has a submission system, so every user here can share some free content with the rest of the community, making the archive bigger
.
It's my -first- submission-based PHP application I've ever done, so excuse the bad layout (I just learned DIVs) and lack of a lot of features, but hey, I'm improving.
It just allows texture submissions for now, but I will make it accept more things, such as 3D models and stuff.
The problem is, I need a host. Redgaming offers me up to 20 Mb, I can use it for a demo for you all to see, but, it also requires the GD library and I dunno if he has it on his server, so for the moment, and for the good of the community too (20 Mb isn't enough for all the free stuff on the web and that the awesome people here creates
) It would be better a host with unlimited space, PHP 4.3.11 or something (not 5, I've experienced some problems before with it
) and the GD library as stated before, an FTP account with username and password and an easy domain. I'm not asking this for myself, it's for everyone, as everyone is going to use it, I'm just gonna maintain it and improve it
Now, you'll be asking "Yah, I can host it, but I dunno what is it!" well, here ya go two screenies for ya (1280x1024, s'cuse the size though, and it's 300-200Kb each one)
