haha, no for real though.

I'm always getting damn spam email. Lately the flood has been all about viagra. I stopped getting breast enlargment emails after I replied to one asking for more details and if they had special price plans for men. Now I get viagra instead, joy.

But its funny because they always come listed as from some name and the name changes every time. I guess that just have a list of random names the email spammer uses as its from field.

But today ladies and gentlemen I got an email from Richard Davey suggesting to me that viagra was great and it really helped him and his girlfriend so I should try it too

Now I found this funny XD Rich man, what are you trying to tell me? XD

Only a girlfriend ? I thought he had a wife, and went on a honeymoon in a Hotel made out of ice.

But maybe I'm wrong.

Sure I noticed this, but it's got sod all to do with me. Research email worms people, they don't have to come from who they claim. Just because it had my name it doesn't mean it originated here, it could have come from anyone who has ever received an email from me (so that should narrow it down.. heh).

You want to look at the mail headers to find out where it came from, not the sender address.

It's actually very easy to send an email with fake mail headers as well as a fake sender, so that doesn't always work.

um, this appears to of got all serious or something

I KNOW it ISNT really Rich, I just found it funny that one of their name databases pulled a name identical to his, especially when I thought I had received an email from him for some reason at first >>;

Well it made me giggle anyway. But I have no point suggested that he had a worm that caused this or that he was connected in any way to this email except for the name :/

Sure.. but the majority of spam never even touches the mail headers, so they're a quick and easy way to tell which route the email took.

if you look in the email header your see an ip address of the sender

you can then see where the server is based, by using dnsstuff.com

When they leave their house for the first time they'll realise theres a whole world out there, and there will be no need for them to act with such idiocy.

My name was never Megatron. The humen mind seems to just read the first and last letter of my name and generate a plausible answer. For example:

Benjamin: Banjoman
Rich: Roach
Mouse: Moose

It's M-E-G-A-T-O-N. NOT MEGATRON.

Yeah he was 'Raven' for a while.

Personally I keep getting called 'Dr. Phil' but I can't fathom why.

I keep getting emails asking if I want bigger breasts.

Obviously this is a kind invitation but the answer is no. What troubles me is, however, just how unbalanced the universe is. For example, I can think of any number of my ex-GFs who I would have been delighted if they'd received and accepted the invitation...

...

and thats quite a philosophical thought for a Wednesday!

The English should have really taken a hint from the Chinese whose words rearely go above 2 syllables (if at all).

They have similar or less words per sentence, actually. Their sentence structure is incredibly simple compared to English--- it's just their pronounciation and characters that are so friggin' hard to learn
