Can you actually write a DLL in Visual Basic 6 that works with DB Pro without c++, just in VB and no wrappers? If not, why not?

No you cant, because, if you had made a quick search around the forums, you would have found that VB DLL's are actually ActiveX ones, and not standard DLL's.
