Hey Guys, Just finished this first part of some new tutorials I'm writing on skinning stuff for Game Models!! This first part is just a few basic methods of adding textures, edges, scratches, dents, drips etc to metal surfaces...more on the way!!

I've never been a fan of the Photoshop Airbrush, it's makes things look to plasticy. Atleast with default settings, but then try explaining how changing the settings helps newbies and you get blank stares.

Still should be a good starting point for many new ppl.

Dhuuuude, nice work.

I always get a warm fuzzy feeling inside when people contribute to the scene.

Also, a reminder to anyone half-serious that Paint Shop Pro 8 has measly RRP of £40 in the UK (apparently) and having just done a search on eBay, there are more than enough people selling it on

I'm a huge fan of your tutorials, although I just started learning how to texture seriously today, and haven't been a modeller before.
