i think it depends on what version you have, i had to revert back to 6.52 as i have a professional key, the latest version is v7.xx, what version do you have?

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself 

It means a broken Link and/or Incorrect Version.
Try Refreshing, if that fails make sure your version is upto date.

I just downloaded the latest version off apple.com and it still happens. It happens anytime I use quicktime on the internet, and refreshing doesn't work.

Am I an Idiot...or is everyone else just really smart?

maybe there is an issue with Safari's plug-in.. have you tried FireFox or iExplorer?

try looking at your quicktime network preferences
are you on 10.3.8? or 10.4?
