We just bought a fancy pool table off of ebay (gonna pick it up today) for about 1/4 of its real value. Looks pretty nice too, even in the crappy quality pictures. Full set of balls and cues. Its pretty nice if i may say so:

Supposedly there is also a ping pong top somewhere for it too... w00t

Probably two pieces of wood that slide on either side, thats what ours was.

I miss it

Looks like a good quality table, it'd look awesome with some new baize and a fresh coat of varnish.

There's an auction place in my home town that often has bar clearouts, so ex-bar tables tend to go quite cheaply, but they look cheap too. Mind if I ask how much you paid for it?

Paid $480

The whole thing seemed to be that the person selling is moving and can't take it. So they put it on Ebay as a pickup only, and it just so happened we live in the area

So my old man, who's been wanting a pool table for the last 3 years (checked ebay daily) bought it right up.

I once had a pool table. But I moved house and it was left in the garage for ages.

When I finally went back in the garage, the damp conditions had caused the whole thing to warp totally out of shape.

(I mean TOTALLY out of shape)

Oh well

Isn't anyone going to make some kind of hilarious joke?

Looks quite low down in the first pic but that's probably something to do with the width of the legs.

Always wanted some kind of pool/snooker table. One of these days I'm just gonna have to bite the bullet and get World Champ Snooker (2004 versions only £5 on play.com)

Woah, that looks exactly like ours sans lion feet (it's even shorter too). What's the brand/model? I bet they're the same company...

Regulation size table from what I understand (includes height).

Not sure the brand/model right off the top of me head... I'll look into it when I wake up.

I already have people begging me to play with it... and it in the damned house yet. People just love pool tables...

Wait till they find out we already have a foosball table, and a pinball machine next to come

I'll be sure to make some money offa this sh*t.

That and I'm trying to track down a Galaxian machine cheap. Damn do I love that game. There was an arcade around here that had one, but then they went bottoms up on the lease of the area, and sold all the machines to game freaks like me.

Yeah, was some kind of plywood; but we got it free (an old friend no longer wanted/needed it) so it doens't really matter too much
