Hi - I have started making claymations and saw somewhere that you can put your images in flash. If this is true, how can you do it?
Thanks,
Squids.
[EDIT]
Better put:
How do I do I upload all my frames in flash at once?

get a program called Rname it
copy your still images to a folder.
use Rname it to change all the filenames in the new folder only so they are sequential numbered files.
create a movie shell and go inside it.
using the import feature will import them all at once since they have sequential numbers.

If you need a new blank frame = insert > timeline > blank keyframe

To get pics into Flash I open the into MS Word and the copy and paste the pic into Flash. I don't know how to import a bunch of pics at onse all in different frames, but you might wont to keep messing around with flash till you find an answer. I'll try and help too.

PS whats a movie shell?

If you finish your animation you can submit it to our site ->

But it must be funny...

Check out all of the other animations on the site too. Thanks

if you name all your images you want to use in sequential order.. like
b1 b2 b3 b4 then when u import b1 it will pop up asking if u would also like to import the others as it seems to be sequential. click yes and each following image will appear on the next frame.

i hear parrots in this post.

in flash you can create a symbol / movie / button

insert / new symbol / movie clip should do it

this will open the clip on the stage, this way you can move all the cells or frames in that movie around with ease.

i wouldnt say flash is hours of pain when it comes to video etc..

Just go file>import>to library and then open the library and drag whatever you want into each frame....

it isnt that hard, just take all your images, and give them a differnt keyframe on the timeline up at the top. the longer the space between keyframes, the longer it takes to hit it, so space them as you want.

i would do as they said and make a movie clip object and do it in that, then you can drag that by opening your library (Ctr-L) and dragging it onto your scene. then you can add your own Titles and such at the start.

i would do flash too. you can add your own stuffs too it (like i said, titles and whatnot), then you can also put them on websites and people dont have to download them, flash files are better for animated movies, imo. otherwise i would make a true video file.

No, I'm not familiar with flash. I have been using movie maker but I want to be able to submit my movies to flashplayer.com and newgrounds.com and they need to be flash for that. I found out that you can upload you Windows Movie Maker movies into flash and add a preloader and a play and replay button and that works., so I'm going to do that instead of uploading around 400 frames at a time..
