I was just wondering.. does anyone have some concept art for a cartoon style character? If not, would anyone mind whipping one up, seeing as I cannot draw if my life depended on it...

Nothing in particular, I just request that it me a male.

Thanks very much!

A bit more information on this would be nice.
I can probably whip something together if you come up with a bit more information on him. too much freedom aint any fun. At least tell a bit of information of the game the character will be a part of.

Thanks Jonny I should have done that.

Well, the game is called "Get a Life", and is in 3d obviously. You play as a guy who has just graduated from college and doesnt know what to do with his life. So basically you walk around this small town and try and make money, do stuff, etc.

The graphics are sort of cartoonish, definetly not your GTA-type GFX. But not so cartoony to the extent of actual cartoons on TV. Ever seen the show "Jimmy Neutron" on Nickelodean? Something similar to that would be perfect.

Thanks

Hey, not too keen on the "Jimmy Neutron" style, but I did manage some sort of cartoony-ness.. I dont have too much time these days I'm afraid.. but I whiped something up.. if you want a rendered version later.. I'll make another one.. anyway.. hope it can be of use.. now I gotta get back to painting.

Hmm, thats looks pretty cool. But one thing, and everyone is open to answer this question please, this isnt drawn in that pose like from the front, with the arms out, etc. How exactly would one go about modeling something drawn from this perspective?

Thanks, get drawing, this seems to be something cool to model.

lol, no problem, and I do not exactly draw or paint anyway. Re-arrange and manipulate photos is what I do.
Those were just some of the male photo cartoons I did.

yup, well england is keep us in here, 4 thunder storms in the last 5 days, a big one on Friday, one tuesday, and two yesterday.

The one on friday was very close, some one in town near the college got struck by lightning, and very loud, lets say my mum and sister were at working, and lightning was in between the two buildings. So if the weather doesn't improve I'll have to be a geek and stay indoors
