I get a missing d3dx9_25.dll error when trying to compile my project after installing the new june version of the direct x sdk. By the looks of things microsoft changed the ddl used to d3dx9_26.dll. For anyone experiencing the same error using the new directx sdk, you can download the correct file here, at least, untill the dark sdk is updated to use the new directx sdk. ->

PS

It's an 11 hour download using a 56K modem. When will broadband reach the West of Ireland?

Awww. Man. Sucks to live in irland.

I should have specified!!! If you install the new direct x sdk over the old one then there is no problem. The only reason you would need the old d3dx9_25.dll is if it was a fresh install

Yeah, Irish government hang your head in shame! The politicians were full of "We're going to be the ecommerce hub of europe, everyone will have broadband tomorrow morning" and crap like that. Five years on, unless you live in Dublin (with the politicians) you're fecked.

Oh well, no probs about the SDK. By some miracle the line stayed up for 11 hours and the SDK is all working fine.
