There is now a demo on our website for the 2D Shooter Game Creator. This product is not yet released but we hope to have it for sale by next Thursday 30th June, so you too will be able to create your own 2D Shooting Games à la Time Crisis/House of the Dead etc.

The final cost of 2DSGC is : £5.50 download - 16.2Mb.

Pretty cool!

Should have made some 3D rendered Scenes for it though!

Would have really impressed everyone then...

It does come with 3D rendered scenes so games created with it can look 'impressive' - we just wanted to do more traditional hand-drawn art for the demo.

umm could you please post a demo for the game creator not a game if you think its to riskey then dont but it might sell better if you do.

We would, but it would be too easy for people to hack it. Plus, we would have to give away a considerable amount of functionality to create a demo version like that, and then many people would not upgrade.

Anyhow, the first demo gives a good impression of the capabilities with 32-bit sprites, custom enemies, weapons, backgrounds & foregrounds, music etc.

We have now finished our downloads system for the website, and sales will start tomorrow!

Hmmmmmm... no. We have thought of a trial edition, but we don't get that many requests for testing the level editor beforehand - people are happy enough to see the results in the demo showcase. Perhaps if we get enough people wanting a trial/free edition we will organise one. Anyhow its cheap enough - you might as well buy it!

I would like to take this opportunity to announce the amazing "compile-your-games" service which means we turn your game into a fully redistributable executable for a mere £1 - and you get unlimited sales rights etc!
