This might interest some of you who have a love for retro games, although others may be wondering WTF when they read this:

http://uk.videogames.games.yahoo.com/af/news/0c-721aaf.html

Does anyone think they might do the hardware as well?

I don't suffer from insanity - I enjoy every minute of it!

If no-one gives your an answer to a question you have asked, consider:- Is your question clear.- Did you ask nicely.- Are you showing any effort to solve the problem yourself 

The smallest darkbasic game couldn't even fit on one casette tape. It would probably take up like 10 casette tapes.

Has everyone forgotten the hell that is ''Tape Loading Error''? I mean some technologies are improved for very good reasons!

Sounds like a nice idea, but I'd rather see this stuff in robust machines, like a mini spectrum that uses cheap cartridge technology and distribute the games that way. Anything that'll let you use your old TV would be fine - I don't really want to get a speccy setup all over again .

I hate the fact that they are being recycled and used for profit.
they should be recycled and made available for download as free retro games with the option to buy a retail tape or disk version depending on the platform.

There is just as much educational worth in these games as there is entertainment value. These old games form an important bit of the history of computing. Personally I think charging us for games that are 20 years old to make a bit of profit is as lame as hell.

thanks, Grant.

mmmm....computer....
