A MSon,
hi, ive been making my own building over the past few days as well because i cudn't fin free ones. BTW very nice work
i just simply texture individual sides of a cube with sum free textures i aquired.
If u have anim8or (free ful download at anim8or.com) then using multiple texture for a cube is easy:
-make a simple cube
-go in to point edit mode (press the button in top left toolbar with three black dots)
-select all the cube and click on EDIT > DETATCH FACES. This will seperate all the cube's faces
-goto TOP view - still in point edit mode - and select two points by holding down leftmousebutton and drag, that represent a face on the cube ie:
TOP VIEW

-switch to FRONT VIEW whilst still in point edit mode
-apply a building texture from the materials toolbar (to create the texture double-click the cube in NORMAL mode and go from there)
-Still in point edit mode click the UV button in the left toolbar to adjust texture.
Thats quite long-winded but once you get the hang of it it should take a matter of minutes to do aall the face. Just repeat all the steps above EXCEPT step 1 to do all faces. Remeberign to select two different points for each face
Hope this simplifies the matter
