I Couldn't Find Any models of buildings that I Liked, So I made My Own, Pic's Attached, Including a 10 Story SkyScraper...

Does AnyOne Know Where I Could Get Some Good Free Textures for Buildings?

I've made the Buildings so they are destructable aswell.
ie if you fire at a building you can blow a hole in the wall, and the Floors can Collapse, but to do this you need a lot of Memory, (Runs Slow)

PS...

The 10 Story SkySkraper is Made up of about 2000 Objects...

I've Been Trying to Sort the Texturing Probem, But Apparantley Texturing Different Sides of Cube With Diffferant Images In DBPro Isn't Too Easy, (See Link)...

A MSon,

hi, ive been making my own building over the past few days as well because i cudn't fin free ones. BTW very nice work

i just simply texture individual sides of a cube with sum free textures i aquired.

If u have anim8or (free ful download at anim8or.com) then using multiple texture for a cube is easy:

Thats quite long-winded but once you get the hang of it it should take a matter of minutes to do aall the face. Just repeat all the steps above EXCEPT step 1 to do all faces. Remeberign to select two different points for each face

Hope this simplifies the matter

you'll choose to ignore my advice

Thanks for the Advice, But I Need to Access it In My Map Editor. So Im trying to Make a Cube Out of Plaines so that you can pick the side with the mouse to change the objects Texture...

I Know it will proberley slow it down, but its worth a try

PS...

Will it Run Faster If I Connected All The Segments of the Building As Limbs?

I have a advice, you might wanna make the skuscraper littel more wider so you could fit in a elevator or a stearway that goes down to the lobby etc. Besides that, the models are good

The SkySkraper already has part of the floor removed to put a lift in, (I do have a spiral stair case I could use instead of a lift)

as for making it wider, the wider it is, the more objects used, The Slower it goes, (the SkySkraper gets an FPS of about 30), but I do have a slow system

the Dimentions of the SkySkraper
Width = 50
Lenth = 45
Height = 150

PS...
Will post a ScreenShot from my Game Soon, (GTA Style With Halo Controls)
