Hi, i havent been here for long time :o) so, Iam here now, and i made some usefull things. Newton in multiplayer. I hope, that this can be usefull to somebody .. i will work on this.

Source of simple multiplayer with newton (170 KB)

I set this for LAN or you can run twice on your PC :o)
or set delay of sending packet.

If you know better wat to sending packet, tell me please ! :o)

Would be handy to have some instructions. I just get a grey plane with some letters in the corner. Nothing else.

Ah, I said. You have to run this program twice ! or run on LAN .. Ball show only, when is other PC connected. So.. Run program... set TCP/IP ... "Zadej IP" Write IP "localhost" and next write 5 for server. Run same program again.. set same thins .. and write 1 for Game maked room .. Done .. you can use arrowkeys for control. Thats all. Sorry, that i dont wrote manual :o)

Looks good then , but you can't control the ball from the client application. That's what you really need for Newton to be useful in multiplayer.

yes i know. But, there is small problem, which i want solve .. when Iam updating newton matrice, collision not work correctly. So. I will update position ... after 5 second .. i will use only force and torque .. i think, on both pcs will newton same..

i got it. Server will uses newton .. It will recieve packet from players and sending packet (physics, positions, rotations) Player will send only force, and PLayer will see only graphical part .. newton will only on server.

The HeliAT application at my website uses exactly this technique for multiplayer apps with newton.
