Yeah, that's a bug in the forum.

When a post is deleted, it doesn't subtract from the count in the thread list. Also, when a post is made that has yet to be approved, it adds to the count. So in the thread list that last page link is generated from a count that is wrong. So you're venturing into pages unknown.

If that makes sense.
