How do I get it to work? I try running the examples, but they don't even work. It's just a little message screen that says Error, and then has a big 8 in the middle of it. Then I click Okay, and it quits out...

Try increasing the SPLIT TERRAIN value. Must be 4,8,16,32 etc...

I tried the numbers 16,32,64,128,256,512, and 1024. I keep getting error 7 now. I'm running DBPro Trial version 5.8.

All the images in the right place? You can have a missing image, and get an error like these, with no proper explanation.

I just checked everything, and the error seems to be coming from the "make object terrain 1". I have the dll in the user-plugins folder, and I have no idea whats wrong.

If you have v5.8 isn't it supposed to be in the licensed folder? Also does it even work with the 5.8 trial version?

I've tried it in the licensed folder and it didn't work either. I don't know if it works for the trial either. Anyways, I'm going to a friends now, I'll try it in the other folder when I get back.

[EDIT]

Nope, switching folders doesn't help. Maybe its just cause I have the trial.

Error 7 will display if certain functions cannot be found in other DLLs that the terrain relies on. As Bouncy says - if you are using a trial version it will not work. You need to be using the full version with upgrade 5.8.

And you are using 5.8 ? What do you have in the licensed plug-ins folder ?
