Im a complete newbie here.. as you figured out by now.

Again all i can find here in my country is a book: Game programming toolkit 6.0 by stalzman? and it have darkbasic standard I think to practice wid.

My questions are:
1. What exactly is the difference between Dark basic and Dark Basic pro. Support for .mdls? etc etc. I just need a comparison.

2. Are codes written in Dark Basic compatible with DBPro?
3. Is the book that comes with the Kit any good? statzman is the author of the book. I think you can find the box on the darkbasic.com site. The silver one.

4. I have written codes before, just wondering if the examples on the book any good? like gives you a idea about how u can piece a game, and not a syntax oriented or a basic programming tutorial.

2. It should be but kinda isn't. Try it and you'll see. The edits you need to make are sometimes kinda random too, you can't put various commands on the same line as each other, for example...

Coming Soon! Kangaroo2 Studio... wait and quiver with anticipation! lol
