im not sure who was first as google earth has been in hiding for over 9 months.

is another google alterntaive.

my friend works in an australian government branch that does metadata on geography, they have seen both companies deploy these aspects within around the same timeframes.

google seems to be ahead of the game tho.

about 4 months ago Microsoft changed thier site to go with thier all new search engine.
