Hi,

I'm looking for the framework of a FPS so that I can create my game again .. A while back I got some help from a few guys on here and they gave me some code to fix my game ..

Well unfortunately its stuffed again and I need someone to make me the basic outlines of an FPS using 3d models (.x) for the guns etc. frontend (like quake etc.).

Not neccessary but ...
What I would like is to use landscape or other systems as opposed to BSP (is slightly more complicated but at least I don't end up with license issues or questions about them)

If you could give me a hand, please email me .. reply or if you have something that I might find useful or similar that you have already coded, please send it !!!
Anything to save me having to start over again would be appriciated greatly (I will list you in the credits)

the story of this game : 6 months fulltime work gone in under 2 hours :.(

Thanks for your time,
Matthew King

Try getting the last tutorial for FPS and use that as the frame work. Adapt it and so forth to your requirements

use the sliding collision tutorial for the collision (it works great)

open the monster "complete" game tutorial and grap the strafing techniques.

Go from there!
