This is my first darkbasic game. It has taken me some time to complete, but I am pleased how it turned out.

Oh by the way, controls are:
left arrow: turn left
right arrow: turn right
up arrow: speed up
down arrow: slow down
control: change view

eat all the green and red apples, but avoid the walls, mushrooms and your own tail!

Very Nice!

Addictive too!, I like the fact that the snake can eat 2 different types of fruit, And that the camera angle can be changed...

Overall, An excellent first game!

hey thanks guys! nice to know my efforts are appreciated
i plan to add mazes, more sound effects and eventually network play for two or more snakes in the same arena

what i think
well i would just like to say the game is good i like the movment just because it is so easy yo use.

what could be done to make it better
1. you should add a menu to the game
2. you should add more levels you could do this by not allowing people to speed up and slow down as well as having diffrent maps e.g. a T shaped one of and L. you could also make each level faster.


well other than the things that could be made better i think you have done a very good job on it (well done)

Have you considered using a AI CPU snake as an opponent?

I used an AI CPU snake in my game 'Kiss My Asp!' (click on my sig) it is open source so feel free to peruse the code and take anything you need from it
