He was being sarcastic.
THE KEY DIFFERENCES BETWEEN RPGS AND ADVENTURE GAMES
Please note I'm only talking about pure RPG, not action/RPGs, RTS?RPGs, Dating Simulator/RPGs, ect...
RPGs
Some sort of EXP system
Long if not complexe stories
Menu baced battle systems
High amounts of character interaction
Tons of items, weapons, and magic
Adventure
Ussaly only one main character (as oppoised to a party)
Real-time combat
Gains increaded streangth by gaining items
Stories are ussally simpler than RPGs
The two easily confuzed because resently their haven't been that many Adventure games made resently. Dark Cloud is one. Zelda 2 for NES is a hibrid of these two catogories. Back in the oldend days of the NES there were more of them. I think they are now shoved into the action catagory.
Am I a butterfly dreaming I'm a man?
Or a bowling ball dreaming I'm a plate of samishi?
Never assume that what you see or feel is real.
