I was wondering, what would be a good polycount on a model for, say... an RTS? I know that for something like a puzzle game, or something that doesn't have a lot of entities on-screen at any given time, the polycount could be higher. But in a game where there'd be several units on-screen at once, I'm sure the polycount would need to be lower. I just don't know what it should be. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well, I think the upper limit that DBPro can handle is around 50,000, so I guess it depends how far the camara is from the action, and just how many guy you want at once.

Am I a butterfly dreaming I'm a man?
Or a bowling ball dreaming I'm a plate of samishi?
Never assume that what you see or feel is real.
