How many of the updates will be free of charge? I dont want to have to pay another 60 bucks to get bug fixes that should not have been there in the 1st place, so im just wondering how many updates will be free.

Its default location - it should then run a program which will install the update.

Note: Microsoft recommends the following products and technologies for this service pack:

* Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later available from the Microsoft Windows Technologies Internet Explorer Web Site. Internet Explorer 5.0 is available on the Service Pack CD.
* For the Windows NT 4.0 operating system, Microsoft Windows NT® 4.0 Service Pack 4 or later is recommended. Windows NT 4.0 Service Packs are available from the Microsoft Windows Update page.

1. Before starting the download, create a download directory on your computer. If you have an Internet connection speed of 300K or greater, you may choose the "Single Download" (approximately 129 MB), otherwise it is recommended you choose the "Multi-part Download" (approximately 10 MB each).
2. Click on each of the links under "Multi-part Download" or the single link under "Single Download" at the end of this page to begin downloading. When prompted by the download software, choose the option "Save this program to disk" and click OK. Then select the directory you created on your computer.
3. Run the file(s) below from the download directory. When prompted, select the same directory you created on your computer. You will be expanding the contents of the EXE into this directory.
4. If you already have MDAC 2.5 installed, proceed to step 5. Install MDAC 2.5 (required for Service Pack 5) by running MDAC_typ.exe from your download directory.
5. Run SetupSP5.exe from the download directory. When you accept the terms of the electronic End User License Agreement (EULA) the setup software will replace the appropriate files in your Visual Studio 6.0 installation.
