Use the arrow keys to make the characters "dance" in time to the music and boogie around the multi-coloured dance floor. Each step turns the grid into different colours, match them up to win. Miss a beat and the crowd won't be happy! Try to avoid the beer "power-up", it sends your dancing (and the camera) haywire, which is ironic because we always thought that beer *increased* your perception of how well you dance

A great many people think they are thinking when they are really rearranging their prejudices.

If I was voting for humour then this would win hands down.

Very funny but also surprisingly well presented. Cracking music.

Gameplay was a bit strange though. I found it almost impossible to form a complete line.

The whole way the tile colours are swapped just doesn't feel right. Whatever colour square you start on it's impossible to move off it. Even simple looking moves are impossible to carry out.

This game is pure class! Raised a chuckle or two from me.

The stick men animations are brilliant (look like me dancing) and the lighting effects in background look great.

The game itself is a bit odd though and I did not enjoy it as much as I would have liked.

Nearly made it into my top 10 though!

I thought this game was great. The dance animations were perfectly hilarious, and fit the music really well. It was exactly as I thought it should be. The music of course was great too, which added to the fun.

I thought the game was kind of hard, and found trouble moving around in the small window I was given to move. I only got two lines before the timer ended.

A couple ideas for improvement to the gameplay:
Easier starting levels (slower beat, smaller grid, wider margin to move)
Change color swapping for color building (like Q-Bert) which is easier to do and makes more sense in a game like this.

This will go in my vote pile for originality and style. Good job!

I'm not a real programmer but I play one with DBPro!

People seem to be having trouble figuring out the puzzle part - moving tiles into lines. I've written some simple guidelines to get you started here: http://www.govergames.co.uk/dancematt, hopefully this helps

I found this game suffers from a bit of sensory overload, you're trying to watch the tiles on the 'mat' and be in time with that spinning disc. I found that too difficult, the tile graphics were ok, but I can't really find much I can praise in this game. No offence but it doesn't appeal to me.

The concept is an interesting one, and I definately think you deserve some credit for that at least.

I don't suffer from insanity - I enjoy every minute of it!

Thanks everyone! It was a new concept I tried out, but I don't seem to have got it quite right. Glad you all found it funny though, that was the main thing

Pro's:
Great Game!
A nice unique take on the shuffling tiles game.
The Music is fun, and the beat is easy to recognize which is a plus!
Fun graphics, and animations which fit nicely.
Easy to use interface.

Con's:
Hard to think of any!
The only thing really is that due to the very nature of the puzzle element, the tile you start on is the one you drag under you untill you either lose, or get a dance. Maybe using a "blank" tile to dance on would have been better?

Comments:
I like this game, and it's definatly fun! I relly liked pressing the button to the beat, and trying to work out where to go next.
A great, well-rounded game over-all!
I wanted to give this one votes, but it just missed out...

Fifth Place
