On the other hand, though, the devs said that they had fixed some issues which each cause slowdown. So maybe it'll balance out.

Hopefully.

I do believe that the full version will require alot more than the early adopter edition, since it will have alot more, memory-eating features.

One thing to look forward to:

By chance, i'm getting a new PC just at the right time for FPSC V1. My new PC will cost high, but i will finnaly can play Doom 3, Half Life 2 and Battlefield 2. I will also can model at extreme high-poly, make great games, and run FPSC like 2000x faster

Your Best Option is to divide your money, and get the highest affordable parts since the requirements are not released.

It's a joke... I tried installing linex but there was some driver errors and I couldn't get it to work. SO, I settled for getting a windows "patch" that made the boot screen say "Booting Anti-Microsoft, we all hate you"

Wireless Adapter = 50 x 3
Wireless Router = 100
40GB 10k RPM = 150
There are some things money can buy, happyness isn't one of them.
MasterCard, bringing debt to new levels.

MSI SATA PCI 13x mother board
MSI PCI 64mb (Hmm, sounds like some Graphics card plugged into the PCI slot... it will STEAL 196MB of your RAM, to run at 256MB)

well, here's mine:

Intel Pentium 4 3.6 GhZ
best part: nvidia geforce 6800GT 256mb
1 gig ram
120 gig disk space

a dual core seems to be good, yes.

Now that V1 is heading to master, can Rick or Lee provide us with the official V1 system requirements. If playing the games are different than building them, please provide requirements for both.

Also, are the games still going to be as large (disk size) as they were with EA?

Thanks.

I don't think that my computers graphics card is up to the minimum req. of FPSC. Will it stop me from using FPSC?

I wouldn't mind if it was slower but it would bug me if I couldn't use something I just ordered.

I have a horrible compy. And my parents won't buy a new one because they're cheap and are savemoneyfreaks.

I've got 12 gigs, upgraded from win98, 128 ram upgraded from 64, pentium 3 processer, and they won't let me buy my own even though I have enough money.

I dont believe that specs will be greatly varied from those of EA.

If you can run EA then you should be able to run V1 without seeing any difference in performance.

If anything it should be better - V1 is smoother and faster than EA.

If you dont get "Silly with your use of Physics" and you will know what I mean - use it wisely and it should have little or no influence on the speed of your gameplay.

Of course if you want to see your FPSC creation in all its glory then you will need a system which supports shaders.
