Ok so i want to do some 3d modeling for my games before V1 comes out but I have a few basic questions.

1)When animating a model do u do 1 animation for 1 model?
example:does man.x have all the animations in him or is it more like
man_walk.x man_shot.x and so on

2)Texturing totally blows me away how they wrap around the wire frame and so on could someone explain this to me?

Thx

i cannot help you for the 1st one. for the 2nd, you must unwrap (spelling?) your model and put the texture on the UV Map and you save. I can texture it for you if you want (give me the texture and i will crop it and put it on the uvmap.

All the actions of the model are wrapped in one file. There are labels for the actions, that the program using it needs to find. At least on my modeling program. Can't help you on the second one.
