I run this on dark-basic and the background is black.

How come when I run it on dark-basic Pro I can't get the background to be black?

The source was lost (always use code snips).

The reason why it isn't black is because Darkbasic Pro treats all sprites as a 3D object. So you always see a blue screen. To get rid of this "load an image" and "paste" it to the background before any "sync"... or use "cls".

Hope this helps.

Or if you wanted to do it faster just change the black to a colour very close to black, so close it's unnoticiable to the human eye. That's what I usually do.

Go to the tutorials page (or click the link below)

and download tutorial 10 - Sprites and the Blue Background. It will give you all the info you need about how to solve your problem.
