I have lots of problems making quality graphics, and when I do make
them most of them stink. So I was considering using ripped graphics,
but I don't know if I should. Kinda makes me feel like a rip off.
Plus I really am considering ripping sounds and music DBC as no
good ones for RPGs. Darn I spelled there wrong it should be "their"

This is a matter of personal opinion really. While legally you should NOT be using ripped graphics - if they are for your own use, if you're not actually selling your game or passing the graphics off as your own - then I actually don't see the harm in it. It means you get to concentrate on the coding and making the game fun, which is the important part, without it looking like a stinking turd So you'll never be able to sell it - big deal! There are more important things

A great many people think they are thinking when they are really rearranging their prejudices.

Trsut me selling a game isnt the big deal here making it is though. I used graphics i find on the internet to make my games like my little tutorial i did for 2d movement some of the code wasnt even mine i just found some good movement code in the codebase and edited it to work for me added a few extra lines here and there no big deal i still gave the original maker of the code credit. As well as the images i used i gave the maker of those credit too the point was i did it.

So you see there is some good stuff you can do just as long as you don't pass all of it off as your own and give credit where needed.
