Can some kind person "pump up the volume" on the attached Midi for me please? I am Aurally challenged, to say the least.

And 5 extra points if you can name the tune.

I can increase the volume, but the method I use will re-record it into an MP3 (It will still sound the same, but louder)

Is this OK, or would you rather keep it as MIDI, and let someone else do it?

Also; Can't name the tune

Might sound a bit odd in places because of the way it was written(it adjusts the volume itself in some parts).

I recognise it..

Could you try making sense, maybe? I still don't understand what you said:

Quote: " well, consitering that there is ragtime is a fraction of all the music in the world... yes, it does...
"

EDIT: I understand now. Yes, ragtime is a fraction of all the music in the world, that is true, however you can rewrite something in the ragtime style. Though ok, listening to it you can hear by the chords its rag...

By the way, no need to show examples, I do know what ragtime is

...Excuse me? If you bothered to construct sentences PROPERLY I wouldn't have trouble understanding them. Jesus, some people on this forum are so rude. If you missunderstand ONE thing they say they snap off at you.

@BatVink: Sorry for um, kinda hijacking your thread.

What are you talking about... I am not fussing, I am fussing that some people fail to see my logic, (or fail to try to read something if I make a small grammatical error), just look at it.

Hmm... my logic escapes me...

Thanks guys . And my apologies for unwittingly starting a flame war .

Here's a link to the sheet music of one of the most "in your head and can't get it out" tunes ever. It's too wide for the forum.

You may be too young, or too unappreciative of this well-respected series of games to have recognised the tune. Mr. Lowe provided the world with much inspiration. (He's not dead, by the way, very much alive).

You need Midi software, such as Cubase or Noteworthy. Or you can plug a Midi instrument (generally a keyboard) into your Joystick port* and do it that way, with the right software.

Technically, the Joystick Port is actually a Midi port, not the other way around

Sounding much better. Sorry to be a pain, but can you also get rid of the silence at the beginning? It's for a mobile phone ring, so a 5 second silence is a bit of a problem

Perfect! It will bug the hell out of everyone else, but it has fond memories for me.

When our first son was born, I did a 47 hour stint without sleep. I was so hype up at the end of it, that I came home and completed Leisue Suit Larry 6 - in The Lair of The Lounge Lizards.

Thanks again!

Ahh Leisure suit Larry
I remember playing the first one on my dads Orange screened Compaq 'Portable' computer (it weighed a ton) the problem was it had daft questions at the start to try and verify your age and I could never get them right. Then he stopped me playing it when I read some of it aloud. (I can remember something about Eve in a hot tub and giving her an apple)
