Does anyone know of a free BSP exporter for truespace 3.2 the only ones I can find are for later versions.

I want to be able to create my scene in 3ds and the export it as a BSP map scene for use with darkbasic. I have downloaded bsp map creators and they cant even import directx objects or 3ds max objects. And I desperately want to load a scene into darkbasic.

Thanks for reading this post

Perhaps someone knows of a bsp exporter that loads in direct x objects or 3ds objects.

The problem with the above solution it takes a long time to get the objects where you want them in darkbasic and I would like a way of loading them into darkbasic in place

also, I can't think of anything thats free that would help you, I used to use the DBP one, but I use .x and .dbo instead now anyway

why do you go for deled and export as .dbo
to export dbo in deled you have to download the plugin on their website. And if you have collision problems theres a 'sliding collision' thread started by GMAN that i find really useful

if you do go for GMANs code and if you use DBP v5.8 theres a code on third post down on page 2 of the same thread to fix any problems

for deled I think its

http://www.delgine.com

I find using .dbo/.x and GMAN's code much more efficient than bsp, at least his code comes with comments explaining everything, I find it really good, plus you can learn a lot from it

fubar is a great bit of German so what does the pk stand for?
